General Description: Basin Creek Hot Springs is located in Sawtooth National Forest along the Salmon River in Stanley, Idaho. Basin Creek boasts primitive river rock walled hot spring pools along the river. There is camping at Cove Creek Hot Springs. The hot springs are day use only.
Location: From Stanley, Idaho is 9 miles or about 15 minutes to drive to the hot springs.
Directions: From Stanley, Idaho Head west on Ace of Diamonds St toward Wall St 302 ft Turn right at the 1st cross street onto Wall St 377 ft

Accessibility: Basin Creek Hot Springs is accessible. You can drive up to the hot springs. You hike down a hill to the riverside.
Hot Springs: Basin Creek Hot Springs has a source that bubbles through the river rocks. The temperature of the source is over 140 degrees. The geothermal percolates between the river rocks. The springs runoff changes the dynamics of the rock walled pools. There is normally one or two volunteered built pools. The temperature of the hot spring pools depend on the flow of the river and how they are built. The water is 100 % all natural geothermal spring water. Clothing is optional. This hot springs get traffic in the summer. Bring your bathing suit.
Hot Spring Tips: Basin Creek Hot Springs is day use only. Basin Creek campground is adjacent to the hot springs. This hot springs is pet friendly. Dogs need to be leashed. Please no dogs in hot springs. The hot springs is submerged during spring runoff.
