General Description: Baker Hot Springs are a set of three primitive cement walled geothermal tubs located in the middle of the desert of Utah. This hot springs is free and clothing is optional.
Location: From Salt Lake City, Utah is about 150 miles or a 3 hour drive to the hot springs.
Directions: From Salt Lake City, Utah take I-15 S/I-80 E from 400 S/University Blvd 4 min (1.6 mi) Follow I-15 S to State Rte 41/UT-28 S in Juab County. Take exit 228 from I-15 S 1 h 7 min (79.3 mi) Take UT-132 W and Brush Wellman Rd to Baker Hot Springs Rd h 13 min (67.6 mi)
Accessibility: Baker Hot Springs is an off road hot springs. Know the road conditions. A 4x4 vehicle is recommended. There is no hiking, You can drive up to the hot springs.
Hot Springs: Baker Hot Springs has three primitive cement walled tubs. The source is 141 degrees. Baker is designed with the channel of extreme hot water that flows adjacent to the hot springs. The builder designed it so you can block or unblock the channel to let in hot and cold water. This enables the soaker to adjust the water to your liking.
Hot Spring Tips: Baker Hot Springs is not maintained or cleaned. The hot springs are full of algae. Baker has no services for 60 miles. Bring extra supplies including water. It is very hot in the summer. This hot springs is free. Baker is clothing optional. This hot springs is pet friendly. No dogs in hot springs. There is camping available at this hot springs. Please be aware of the road conditions especially in the snow and rain season. It is recommended to have a 4X4 vehicle. Please no glass. Pack out what you pack in.
