General Description: Drakesbad Guest Ranch Hot Springs is a rustic cowboy hot springs ranch in the Lassen National Forest along the Hot Springs Creek. This famous Hot Springs Retreat is located in the lush mountains of Warner Valley and boasts an outdoor hot springs pool. This is is a family hot springs vacation destination. The resort is open for the summer season after the snow thaws.

Hot Springs: Drakesbad Guest Ranch has an outdoor hot springs pool known as Drake’s Bath. During the day the temperature is cooled to a comfortable level for typical pool activities and at night they heat the water up to create a giant hot tub!. The temperature averages about 102 degrees and varies according to the season.
Hot Spring Tips: Drakesbad Guest Ranch has an array of outdoor activities that include hiking, fishing, horseback riding, swimming and soaking. There is accommodations and lodging at the guest ranch. Reservations are recommended. All meals are included with room. The guest ranch has a restaurant and bar. In order to soak you need to be a guest. In order to be a "day guest" you need a reservation for lunch or dinner. Make time to visit the Lassen Volcanic National Park. It is a geothermal wonderland. Ask ranch staff for directions to volcanic features like Devil’s Kitchen geothermal area, Boiling Springs Lake, and Terminal Geyser. Drakesbad is the midway point on the Pacific Crest Trail.
