General Description: Wilderness Lodge Hot Springs is a 100-year-old Lodge that was originally a school house in Hurley, New Mexico. In the 1960's, a man named Coy Rasberry single-handedly dismantled and moved it to Gila Hot Springs. Today this historic hot springs hideaway is available as a rental. Wildness Hot Springs boasts two all natural geothermal pools.
Location: From Silver City, New Mexico is 40 miles or about an hour and twenty minutes to drive to the hot springs.
Directions: From Silver City, New Mexico take NM-15 N/Pinos Altos Rd Continue to follow NM-15 N 39.0 mi Turn right onto Access Rd 0.2 mi

Accessibility: Wilderness Lodge Hot Springs is accessible. You can drive up to the lodge. Once you are there it is an easy walk around the property. This hot springs is not handicap accessible.
Hot Springs: Wilderness Lodge boasts two all natural geothermal pools. They do not treat the water. It is all natural with no sulfur smell. The hot springs have a temperature between 100 - 105 degrees. Clothing is optional. From the lodge they have trails that you can take to hike to MIddle Fork Hot Springs.
Hot Spring Tips: Wilderness Lodge Hot Springs does not offer day use. You need to rent the whole lodge to use the hot springs. Overnight accommodations are available. Accommodations include a two-bedroom suite with a private bath on the first floor. Upstairs bedrooms share a bath. There are also two large rooms suitable for meetings and workshops. This lodge is meant for retreats. Breakfast is included with the rental. They are pet friendly.
