General Description: 12 Mile Hot Springs is also know as Bishop Creek Hot Springs. The hot springs is free and named because it is 12 miles north of Wells. Nevada. The hot springs are a primative long man-made concrete pool 40 feet long and 3 feet deep. The source is about 105 degrees. Depending on the season the hot springs average about 100 degrees. Clothing is optional.
Location: Twelve Miles north of Wells, Nevada
Directions: From Wells, Nevada take highway 93 North. Continue onto N Metropolis Rd 4.9 mi Continue straight 0.9 mi
Continue onto County Rd/Upper Metropolis Rd. Continue to follow County Rd. 3.1 mi Turn right 1.9 mi1es to 12 Mile Hot Springs

Accessibility: Accessibility is good for driving. The road is paved, alittle rough pavement with lots of potholes. There are no signs for the parking area or hot springs at any point. There is a parking area. Hiking to the actual hot springs only takes about 1 hour. Its about 2 mile hike to the hot springs. There is a bridge for crossing the creek. Its recommended to cross the creek not the bridge.

Hot Spring Tips: This is a nice hike to a hot springs. The foot traffic is low. Clothing is optional. The hot springs are free. This area gets snow in the winter. You can ride a bike from the parking area to the hot springs. There are supplies 11 miles away. This hot springs is pet friendly. Dogs need to be on a leash. No dogs in hot springs.
