General Description: Jordan Hot Springs is a hot spring hiker's dream in the Gila National Forest. Jordon is a 13 mile one way hike to this beautiful and free primitive rock walled and gravel bottomed hot springs. Clothing is optional.
Location: From Silver City, New Mexico it is an hour to the Gila Cliff Dwellings. From the CLiff Dwelling it is 13 miles to hike to the hot springs.
Directions: From Silver City, New Mexico take NM-15 N/Pinos Altos Rd Continue to follow NM-15 N 26.3 mi Sharp right to stay on NM-15 N
16.8 mi to the CLiff Dwellings. Park at the Visitor’s Center near the Cliff Dwellings. Look for Little Bear Canyon Trailhead. This trail is a 13 miles one way hike to the hot springs.

Hot Springs: Jordan Hot Springs is a primitive rock walled and gravel bottomed hot springs. The temperature ranges 94-100 degrees Fahrenheit depending on the season.
Hot Spring Tips: Jordan Hot Springs are free to the public. Clothing is optional. Pets are permitted on the trail. Dogs need to be leashed at all times. Beware of rattlesnakes. Wildlife is abundant. There is camping along the trail and near the hot springs. You will get wet. You cross the Gila River a number of times. Bring dry clothes and shoes. Do not put your head under the hot springs water because of the amoeba. Take time to see the Cliff Dwellings it is worth the visit.
