General Description: Saline Hot Springs is a unique super remote free hot springs. This desert gem is a communal sanctuary in the great Death Valley National Park. These amazing hot springs are located in lowest point in North America within the Inyo mountains in the remote low desert of Saline Valley. Clothing is optional.
Location: About 100 miles from Lone Pine, California it is located in Saline Valley in Death Valley National Park California. The hot springs are 2-4 hours off a dirt road depending on the conditions.
Directions: From Lone Pine, California take US-395 N/N Main St 24 s (322 ft) Follow US-395 N to Death Valley Rd/Waucoba Rd 43 min (44.9 mi) Continue on Death Valley Rd. Take Waucoba Saline Rd to S Warm Springs Rd

Accessibility: Saline Hot Springs is in the middle of Death Valley National Park. Accessibility is extreme. You can travel between 2-4 hours on dirt roads. Road conditions can be bad based on weather conditions. Rain and snow have a great affect on the road. Check road on conditions before attempting. Once at the hot springs accessibility is good, It is an easy walk to access the hot springs.

Hot Springs: There are 3 beautiful sections of hot springs, the upper, middle and lower springs. The middle and lower springs have been developed with concrete soaking tubs and showers. The hot spring mineral springs range in temperature from the high 95 to 107° degrees. Temperature depends on seasonal climate.
Hot Spring Tips: This is a total off road experience. You need a vehicle with high clearance preferably four by four. Knowing the road conditions is a must. Rainy season can be extremely difficult. Bring enough supplies for the length of time you will be staying. The NPS limits your camping stay to 30 days. It is extremely hot in the summer. This hot springs is a communal orientated the vibe is usually quite kind. This hot springs is clothing optional. Be prepared to see naked hippies. There is no reception for cell or wifi. There are wild burros all around the hot spring area. The military uses the valley for their flight exercises. You will see many jets and chem trails. Subject to flash floods and dust storms. This hot springs is pet friendly. Dogs need to be on a leash. No dogs in hot springs. No glass please.
