Breitenbush boasts seven hot springs pools that include The Spiral Hot Tubs and Sacred Meadow Hot Spring Pools. Breitenbush is a historical hot springs now is an intentional community and worker-owned cooperative. This hot spring naturalist sanctuary offers accommodations that includes vegan organic meals.

Hot Springs: Breitenbush Hot Springs boasts seven hot springs pools. There are three natural pools lined with smooth river rocks called Sacred Meadow Hot Spring Pools . One of these is designated as a “silent” pool for quiet, contemplative soaking. It overlooks the river below. The other two allow for conversation. All overlook a meadow and have views of the surrounding mountains. Aligned in the four cardinal directions, the four Spiral Tubs vary in temperature from very warm to very hot. All hot spring pools range in temperature from 100 - 110 degrees. Adjoining them is a deep cedar tub brimming with cold water for a brisk plunge. The Steam Sauna is a cedar cabin perched above steaming waters with steam rising through slots in the floor. Outside on the deck is a tub flowing with cold river water for plunging. Clothing is optional. The mineral water is not treated. Breitenbush is pure mineral water.
Hot Spring Tips: Breitenbush Hot Springs offers day use. Overnight guests are afforded the unique experience of enjoying a hot soak under the stars. This hot springs offers an array of workshops and retreats. Pets are not allowed at Breitenbush. In compliance with Oregon State law and the Americans With Disabilities Act trained service dogs are welcomed. Swimsuits are optional in the soaking areas; most people do not wear swimsuits. They encourage you to use what is most comfortable for you. The atmosphere we strive for is one of sanctuary and respect. Nudity is not permitted in other areas. Breitenbush welcomes children. Take a walk the labyrinth modeled after the nave at the famous Chartres Cathedral in Chartres, France. This hot springs offer a sanctuary. It is a lovely space with heated floor and large windows peering into the forest to meditate and pray. They have a gift store and a library.
