General Description: Ruby Valley hot spring is a primitive natural pristine hot spring gem in the Ruby Valley Refuge. There is various pools and runoffs in a marsh area with various temperatures. There is a deep large hot spring pool that averages 99.
Location: About one hour from Elko, Nevada.
Directions: Continue to follow NV-227 E 6.9 mi Turn right onto NV-228 S 29.8 mi Continue onto Harrison Pass Rd 1.9 mi Continue onto Old Harrison Pass Rd 1.5 mi Continue onto NF-113 3.5 mi Continue onto NF-357 1.2 mi Continue onto NF-113 5.8 mi Turn left onto Ruby Valley Rd. Drive for appoximately 0.1 mi, then turn right onto the road signed "Ruby Wash" or "CCC Road" Follow the unpaved road for appoximately 3.2 miles, then take the right fork.
Accessibility: Ruby Valley Hot Springs is an off road adventure. Please be aware of the road conditions especially in the wet season. You will need to be able to walk to the springs in a marsh area.

Hot Springs: Ruby Valley Hot Springs has several hot spring pools. The largest hot spring pool is about 30 feet deep and is a beautiful emerald color. This pool is about 100 degrees. Within a quarter mile there are several smaller pools all vary in temperature and accessibility.
Hot Spring Tips: Be prepared with enough supplies because the nearest services are an hours away. This hot spring is for off road vehicles. The conditions of the road varies especially in the wet season. Be aware that some of the springs in this area are scalding hot. This hot springs is pet friendly. Dogs need to be on a leash. No dogs in hot springs. No glass please.
