Location:  Chico Hot Springs is located in Paradise Valley near Pray, Montana, roughly 30–40 minutes south of Livingston and about an hour from Bozeman, depending on road and weather conditions. It’s an easy side trip off US‑89 on the way to or from Yellowstone National Park.

Directions:  From Bozeman, Montana take I-90 E and US-89 S to Mill Creek Rd to Pray, Montana  40 min (40.2 mi)
Take State Hwy 540 to Chico Rd 10 min (7.3 mi)

Accessibility:  Chico Hot Springs is very accessible, with paved roads all the way to the resort and parking near the lodge and pools. There is no required hiking to reach the hot spring pools, though guests can explore nearby trails and ranch activities on foot.

Hot Springs:   Chico’s natural mineral water feeds two open‑air pools at the resort. The large main pool averages around 96°F and works well for relaxed swimming, families, and casual soaking, while the smaller adjacent pool usually runs closer to 103°F for a hotter, more traditional soak. The water is clear and regularly refreshed, with no strong sulfur odor, so it feels similar to a warm outdoor swimming pool but heated naturally by the hot springs. Standard swimwear is required; Chico Hot Springs is not clothing‑optional.​
