General Description: Halfway Hot Springs is a public undeveloped and secluded off-the-beaten-path all natural hot springs. Halfway boasts two rustic soaking areas. Located halfway between Naksup and Revelstoke British Columbia Canada along the Halfway River. Camping is available. Clothing is required although custom is optional.
Location: From Nakusp, British Columbia, Canada is 35 kilometers or about 35 miles to drive to the hot springs.

Accessibility: Halfway Hot Springs is accessible by 4x4. Halfway includes a rough forest service road. The road is poorly maintained. It is not recommended with small cars. The hike from the parking lot is less than one kilometer. The path down is a very steep embankment. Stairs have been added for safety.
Hot Springs: Halfway Hot Springs boasts two hot spring soaking areas. One soaking area includes rustic wood tubs and decks made of recycled wood. The other hot springs pool at is adjacent to Halfway River. The mineral water comes out of a pipe at a temperature of 120 degrees. You can control the flow, and add river water or snow to cool it down. Halfway Hot Springs are all natural. They do not chlorinate the water. Clothing is unofficially optional for many guests. However, public nudity in Canada is still illegal.
Hot Spring Tips: Halfway Hot Springs is not free. There is a charge to soak. Camping is available. A camping permit fee is required for overnight use of the facility and will be collected by an attendant at your campsite. No reservations. First-come first-serve. There are 12 campsites for vehicle parking and 10 additional tent camping sites. Each camp site has a fire pit and picnic table. There is a rustic wooden shelter for changing. There is a pit toilet bathroom at the hot springs. Halfway is pet friendly in campsites. No pets in the hot spring area. Clothing is unofficially optional for many guests. However, public nudity in Canada is still illegal.
