General Description: Willett Hot Springs is located in the Sespe Wilderness, North of Ojai, California in the Los Padres Forest. This is a hot spring hiker's dream. Enjoy this trail following Sespe Creek through a Southern California scenic wilderness. At the end of this hot springs hiking adventure hot springs hike is a 100-degree geothermal hot spring reward.
Location: From Ojai, California it is about 30 miles to the traillhead. It is a 20 mile hike to the hot springs.
Directions: From Ojai, CA, follow Hwy 33 north for approximately 15 miles. Make a right at the signed junction for Rose Valley / Piedra Blanca Trailhead. Go 5 miles to the the Piedra Trailhead. Follow signs for either Piedra Blanca or Sespe River Trail. It’s a paved road all the way to the parking lot. Use the Piedra Blanca Trailhead and hike 10 miles to the hot springs.
Accessibility: Willett Hot Springs is rated extreme. It is a 20 mile round trip. Use Piedra Blanca trailhead near Rose Valley Falls. Willett Hot Springs is 9.5 miles from the trailhead. It’s a paved road all the way to the parking lot.
