General Description: California Hot Springs is a rustic resort nestled in the Sequoia National Forest of the Golden State of California. This hot spring hideaway is a family destination. California Hot Springs offers a large hot springs pool. The pool is 85 degrees depending on the season. The historic resort boasts two hot spring Jacuzzis.
Location: 60 miles from Bakersfield, California off the CA5 freeway in the Sequoia National Forest.
Directions: South on Interstate 5 past Harris Ranch, South past Highway 41 (Kettleman City), and exit Utica Road. Travel East on Utica 19 miles to 6th Ave. Travel South (turn right) on 6th, approximately 2 miles to Virginia. Travel East (left turn) on Virginia, approximately 3 miles to 4th Ave. Travel South (right turn) on 4th, approximately 500 meters and follow curve to the East (left). The traveler is now on Mountain Road 56 which progresses all the way to The California Hot Springs. Total distance - Interstate 5 to California Hot Springs is approximately 79 miles.
Accessibility: This resort is on Hot Springs Drive. You drive right up to the resort. There are stairs to the hot springs which makes it very easy and accessible.

Hot Springs: California Hot Springs offers a large hot springs pool. The pool is 85 degrees depending on the season. The historic resort boasts two hot spring jacuzzis. The temperature of the hot springs jacuzzis are between 100-104 degrees. They have jets for comfort. The spa and the pool uses chlorine.

Hot Springs Tips: California Hot Springs is not clothing optional. This hot springs is not pet friendly. The resort offers offers food. They offer a gift store with supplies. They have a full game room. The hot springs has camping. The whole resort uses hot spring water. As a matter of fact the whole area i am told uses hot spring water in their homes. It is used as public water for over 25 homes. The deck around the pool and spa gets very hot so bring saddles.
