General Description: Trego Hot Springs is a long ditch with a soft mud bottom located in the Black Rock Desert. The springs are adjacent to railroad tracks and This hot springs is located on BLM land. It is open to the public and available for all to enjoy for free.
Location: From Reno, Nevada its about an two hours and a half north.
Directions: From Reno, Nevada take I-80 E and NV-447 N to State Rte 48 1 h 53 min (104 mi) Take Jungo Rd to Trego Rd in Pershing County 34 min (16.9 mi)
Accessibility: Tregor hot springs is very accessible. You can drive right up to the hot spring. It's about 16 miles down a dirt road.

Hot Springs: Tregor hot springs is a long ditch or pond that is mud bottomed. It ranges in heat depending where you soak in this long canal like hot springs. The temperature varies from 90 - 100 degrees depending where you enter the hot springs. It also varies in the season.
Hot Spring Tips: The road to this hot springs can be greatly affected by the rain. The hot springs are adjacent to a railroad. This hot springs is free and on public land. There is alot of camping spots. Please camp at least 300 feet away from any hot springs. Tregor is clothing optional. The mud from the hot springs can get everywhere and on everything. This hot springs is pet friendly. Dogs need to be on a leash. No dogs in hot springs. No glass please.
