General Description: Mystic Hot Springs is a rustic hippie sanctuary located between Fishlake National Forest and Sevier Plateau in Sevier County, Utah. Mystic boasts outdoor calcium laced bathtubs with beautiful views and two hot spring pools. This bohemian run resort offers overnight accommodations that includes old dead head school buses.
Location: Monroe, Utah which is about 2 hours from Provo, Utah.
Directions: From Salt Lake City, I-15 south to the Scipio exit number 188, take Hwy 50 east (aprox 25 miles) to I-70 west, proceed to exit 31, go left at bottom of the off ramp, continue for 2 miles, then go right on Hwy 118 for 3-4 miles to center of Monroe, turn left on 100 North and go up the hill 5 blocks to the big white building at end of road.
Accessibility: These are very accessible. You drive up to the hot springs. The hot springs are up on a hillside so there is some hiking.
Hot Springs: Mystic Hot Springs are magical. Bathing among the huge calcium deposits it incredible. The water has been cascading over this location for centuries. There are two pools. One is deep and is bout 106 degrees. The other is knee deep and is about 103. There are individual soaking tubs along side a hillside with an incredible view.
