Accessibility: Faywood Hot Springs is very accessible. You can drive up to the resort on paved road. Once you are there it is an easy walk around the property. This hot springs is handicap accessible.

Hot Springs: Faywood Hot Springs is unique it has two ways to soak Clothing Optional or Clothing Required. There is public and private pools available. The Private Pools are kept between 100F - 108F according to the season. The Private Hot Tubs can be controlled by the soaker. Each hot tub has a hot and cold water faucet and can be adjusted between about 70F - 120F. There are three pools in the Clothing-Required bathing area. The Lower Clothing-Required pool is usually about 100F. The middle pools is usually about 103F - 104F. The Upper Clothing-Required pool is usually between 107F - 110F. There are three soaking pools in the Clothing Optional bathing area. The Lower Clothing-Optional pool is usually about 100F. The Middle Clothing-Optional pool is usually between 103F - 104F. The Upper Clothing-Optional pool is usually between 107F - 110F. There are also a set of three soaking pools in the camping area that are reserved only for our over-night guests. The hottest one is usually between 107F - 110F. The medium hottest one is usually between 103F - 104F. There is also cool plunge which is usually about 20 degrees cooler.
Hot Spring Pro Tips: Faywood Hot Springs reservations are now mandatory for all guests, including day-users, so you must call ahead or book online before driving out to the desert. Since first-time visitors are required to check in before 8:00 PM for an orientation, plan your travel time carefully to ensure you don't miss the cutoff. The resort is strictly divided into clothing-required and clothing-optional (naturist) sections, so be sure to double-check the signage and respect the designated culture of each pool area.
For the ultimate soaking experience, aim for a mid-week visit or a winter evening when the contrast between the 110^\circ\text{F} water and the crisp desert air is most magical. If you are staying overnight, the pathways are well-lit for midnight soaks, but you should still keep a close eye on the ground to avoid the many desert thorns that can be tough on bare feet and pets. Also, keep in mind that the resident peacocks roam the property freely; while they are beautiful to photograph, you should never feed them or attempt to touch them.
To maintain the tranquil environment, leave all glass containers at home or in your vehicle, as the resort has a strict no-glass policy around the pools for safety. Photography is also heavily restricted, especially in the clothing-optional areas, to protect the privacy of all bathers, so keep your phone tucked away while in the water. Finally, if you’re bringing a dog, keep them leashed and far from the pool edges to comply with resort rules and ensure a stress-free soak for everyone.
