Gaviota Hot Springs
General Description: This is a free nice soda sulfur hot springs in the foothills of Gaviota, California. The hot spring is an easy hike on up a dirt road.
Location: This is hot spring is where the highway 1 and highway 101 meet in southern California. It is 35 miles north of Santa Barbara California.
Directions: From Santa Barbara California go 35 miles north, Exit
Accessibility: The road to the hot springs is a dirt road. It is flat and taken care of. You drive up to the hot springs hot and park temporarily. You move your car to permanent parking for the guests only. This place is awesome they have bikes to use between the parking and the hotel and hot strings. Everything is within walking distance once you are at the hotel.
Hot Springs: There are 4 hot springs. The hot springs range from 100-104. There are 3 under a wooden patio. The hot springs are called flumes because they are shallow elongated rectangular tubs. The design is awesome. This is a silence only place to relax. The other is outside on the deck next to the pool and the sulfur creek. It is the hottest because it is in the sun. The water is incredible strong with sulfur.
