General Description: Sunbeam Hot Springs is located along the Salmon River through the Salmon-Challis National Forest. Sunbeam boasts volunteer built rock walled pools and sandy bottoms. This hot springs gets alot of foot traffic. If you are going hiking rafting or vacationing this is a nice stop to soak your aching muscles.
Location: From Stanley, Idaho is 12 miles or about 20 minutes to drive to the hot springs.
Directions: From Stanley, Idaho head west on Ace of Diamonds St toward Wall St 302 ft Turn right at the 1st cross street onto Wall St
377 ft Turn right onto Eva Falls Ave 0.3 mi Turn left onto State Hwy 75 N Destination will be on the left 12.1 mi

Accessibility: Sunbeam Hot Springs is very accessible. It is right next to highway 75. It is a short and easy walk down to the hot springs.
Hot Springs: Sunbeam Hot Springs has a source of over 160 degrees that comes from the hillside. The geothermal water cascades down in the Salmon River where volunteer builders make hot spring pools. The hot spring pools sit on the bank of the Salmon River below the highway. The temperature of the hot spring rock walled pools depend on the season and the flow of the river. Hot water mixes with the cold water. The water is 100 % natural. The geothermal pools are submerged during spring run off. Clothing is optional at your own risk. This hot springs get alot of foot traffic in the summer months. Bring your bathing suit.
Hot Spring Tips: Sunbeam Hot Springs is day use only. Sunbeam has a restroom and changing room on site. The hot spring pools submerge during spring runoff. This hot springs is pet friendly. They need to be leashed at all times. No dogs in hot springs. There is no camping at the hot springs. There are many official camp sites in the area.
