General Description: This is an amazing set of hot springs along the Kosh creek in the gorgeous Cascade Mountains in northern California. There are 3 rustic man made hot springs and one that mother nature created. I was amazed to sit in an all natural tub no rocks no sand bags no cement. It was incredible. The Mother Nature tub is 105 degrees. The riverside tub is 100 degrees and the source tub is 117 degrees.
Location: Along the Kosh Creek in Big Bend, California. This is on private property but owner lets enthusiasts use the hot springs free of charge. Please be respectful.
Directions: From Redding, California take Ca 299 and go 38 miles and turn right on Big Bend Road. Continue on Big Bend Road for 18 miles. Once past the local store go to highway 11 and park at the intersection.

Accessibility: Big Bend Road is not taken care of and has many poles. You hike on a dirt road for about an 1/8 of a mile down river to the hot springs.
Hot Springs: There are 4 hot springs. The hot spring picture above is 117 degrees. It flows to a riverside hot spring that is in the 90's and mixes with the Kosh Creek. The Kosh creek in the summer is very refreshing. I floated down the creek in a tube. I have video of floating into the hot springs on a tub. There are 2 man made hot spring tubs with cement and rocks. The top pool is 106 and the lower pool mixes with the creek and is warm. There is a magnificent all natural hot tub that is 102 degrees. It is carved by mother nature. Its so unique I call it the Mother Nature Hot Springs tub. It has no rocks and no cement and hits two people comfortable and is riverside.
